1. According to Thomas Lawton, Fu Shen, Glenn D. Lowry, Ann Yonemura, and Milo C. Beach, Asian Art in the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery: The Inaugural Gift (Washington, DC: Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, 1987), p. 100, this pendant forms a set with S1987.526, S1987.528, and S1987.529.
